Room Parents

The PTA's goal is to assign two parents to each classroom
for the school year

The key role of PTA room parents is to support
your teacher's efforts with our children

  1. Most Important: Communicate with your teacher!
  2. While individual classroom needs vary - typical room parent activities include: coordination of classroom celebrations, field trips, assistance with coordination of parent-teacher conferences and classroom volunteers.
  3. Other responsibilities:
    • Recruit parents in your room for PTA events and programs.
    • Collect/budget funds to support your class activities for the year.
    • Communicate with your parents on behalf of PTA as necessary.
